My iTunes library contains numerous songs imported from CDs. I'm unable to copy/transfer any of them to the iPod shuffle -- either by dragging to the shuffle icon displayed in the left pane, or via the disc icon on the desktop, or by exporting -- though I'm able to copy the same songs to an iPod nano, via both pane drag-and-drop or export. Is it the shuffle's limitations (I returned one thinking it was a defective unit) or the new (7.6) version of iTunes?

How did you rip the songs?



And are you sure your Shuffle is not full?



Do you have iTunes set to manually manage the songs on the iPod?
