Is it possible to play DivX videos on our iPhone? If so, how do we download the player?

IF not, is it possible to convert divx to quicktime in order to be accepted by the iphone?

Have you ever tried to convert the video with HandBrake?

No, the iPhone doesn't support DivX. But you can convert DivX files to something that the iPhone can play with the free iSquint or the excellent VisualHub

Manuelmaisch,
Yeah, I tried but no luck. Handbrake doesn't recognized the divx format.

Thanks for asking!

Jon,
Thank you so much for the heads-up on iSquint and VisualHub. I will be investing in both programs, since I believe in supporting any software that is made-for-Mac.

Thanks again for looking after us neophytes who are just getting our feet wet in this wonderful world of digital media!
