Hello, everybody. I have an iMac G5, and I want to make Halo Machinima. To do this, I need a capture card that functions with my computer. Can anyone point me towards a product that would do such a thing? I have iMovie HD, not Final Cut...

What's "Halo Machinima?" How do you make one?

I don't think an iMac can take any kind of card. If you want internal
expansion, you need a Mac Pro.

What are you trying to capture? From what source?

More information, please.

Sorry, Halo Machinima is where you perform scripts inside the game, Halo 3. Then you go to the theatre mode. Here you play the film and move the camera around to get shots. This would be saved to a capture card and stored to your computer.

A typical Halo Machinima would be Here.

I want to make these on my computer.

With your iMac, you'd have to use a USB 2.0 video capture device like the ones that El Gato sells. You can capture this video, convert it to .DV, and then edit it in iMovie or Final Cut Pro.
