Synching iTunes information between MBP and MP

I recently bought a MacBook Pro and I want to synch iTunes music files and data between my laptop and MacPro. In addition to syching music, I also want to synch play counts, last time played, ratings, and smart playlists. This seems to be somewhat impossible. Ideally, this would be handled with .mac but Apple has never addressed this issue. I'm pretty OC about my smart playlists, since I listen to music on my laptop, desktop, iPhone, nano and AppleTV. How can I make them all synch?? If I play a song on my iPhone I want all the other devices to know about it and vice versa and update playcounts.

Is there third-party software that can do this? I've seen some apps, like Chronosync, but none address synching the meta-data for a song. Anyone?? Chris Breen??
