Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems that whenever you add a reply to a thread, the system adds your email subscription to the thread again. If I unsubscribe at the beginning, I don't want to get email updates again after that, regardless of my replies.

You can stop all email subscriptions from following this procedure:

1) Go to "Your Stuff" and click on Preferences. Scroll to the bottom to adjust your automatic subscription preferences.

2) Go to "Your Stuff" and click Email Notifications. Delete the existing subscriptions that you have but don't want.
