Another annoying change to the site, or more specifically to the forums, are the email notifications.
Originally, we were notified anytime someone replied directly to our post. After MW's previous redesign, those notifications stopped entirely for me, making me miss countless replies to me. But in the latest redesign, I get email notifications of all replies not only to my posts, but to those posts replying to me. Notifications of indirect replies sends excessive email to my inbox and is a pain to sift through to find those relating to my post.
I couldn't find any option in the new settings to address this.
Does the new design mark the final death of MacCentral?

This is strictly off topic BUT I agree with your standpoint.
That's why you see few of my posts here now.
Also
On the iPod touch and iPhone, the article links from the RSS feeds lead no where, so alas Macworld article headlines and links are now put in a bucket with the also ran echo chamber Mac websites - sorry to say.
Also again
I do not like the current tacky web site design with the background showing during load and the pages load "oh so slowly" even on my 50 mbs connection.
Also again again.
The coverage is "oh so thin" but the benchmark articles are excellent (and comparatively costly)
Again, again,again.
I cannot stand those self opinionated crusaders who abuse their positions as "reporters or editors" who set out to tell us that others are right and they are wrong (wait a minute - did I get that the wrong way around?) and keep up the pace relentlessly for weeks on end. Perhaps you all know the situations I refer to?
There was once a community. Little is left.
Now, no doubt, my iPhone mailbox will be filled to capacity with ALL articles in this my final contributed thread or perhaps not since the once prolific have turned off the lights and gone home.
