Hi
I don't know who's bright idea it was to suggest Mac OS X Leopard have Windows permission -- or at least to an extent -- knowledge but he or she really could use "my foot in your @$$" ( Red Forman ). You have caused me so much extra grief. I had this nice method of using Mac OS X to back up Windows installs because I wouldn't get some stupid "Access deneid" BS. However, Leopard acknowledges WIndows permissions now and gives me "You do not have sufficient privileges" or something similar.

Anywho...

Anyone know a way to get around or completely disable WIndows permissions in Mac OS X Leopard? It's worth a virtual cookie to whom can help me out. :D

Hi
I apologize if I was confusing in my state of anger.

Mac OS X can read / write to FAT32 volumes and read NTFS volumes. That isn't a problem.

What I want...Mac OS X to ignore ALL / ANY Windows permissions.

Not to discourage you but I don't think it can be done. And if it can you'll have to do it from the command line which you probably already new, and I don't know that much about it. Thats some serious stuff your talking about, but I'll check around for you.

I found this little app. I don't know if it will help you in your quest.
