Now that I have a Time Capsule and it has backed up my MacBook pro successfully, I have a question.

How can I mount the TC without having to go through Time Machine? I am using a wireless connection.

While I don't have a TC myself, I imagine it could be mounted as a network drive, as this is what it really is.

If it doesn't appear in the Leopard sidebar, you'll need to connect manually. Use Command K or Connect to Server in the Go Finder menu and type in // IP address of TC+ If the connections work properly, you should get an option to mount a specific partition.

Good luck!

Thank you for the suggestion. It doesn’t show up in the sidebar nor any way an external drive would appear. I am aware of the procedure to access a network so I will give it a try.
