so, I did something stupid with my 5000 plus iTunes songs....I put the album artwork only on the first song, so it comes up ok in iTunes, but on my iPod, which I finally purchased my first one, i get no artwork when the songs come up except if it's the first song of the album. Is there any way to get the artwork to sync to the whole album, or do I have to go in and manually copy and paste the artwork to the rest of the songs?

You'll have to do it manually... but what you can do is do it by album, not by song. Go into iTunes and highlight the entire album. Then press the apple key and i to pull up the info box. Click the artwork tab, then drag the artwork into the box and hit enter. That'll put the artwork on each file that you highlighted.
