switching RAID volume to a different computer???

Can I take a Mac Os 10.4 software RAID volume from one tower (intel and stick it in a second
tower (G4 with SATA cardrunning 10.4 as well)? Will the new computer recognize the raid set or is it attached to the disk utility of the computer it resides in?
