I was using iDVD on my iMac to create a slideshow. It took several hours to render and write so I went to do something else. When iDVD finished up it shot the DVD out of the drive. It ended up between the wall and a filing cabinet. When it hit the floor, it chipped and cracked the DVD.
Is there a setting I can use to prevent this behavior? I noticed some other applications do the same crazy spitting thing.
Thanks,
eBob

that's a drive problem and not a software one.
my money says your drive is set to"Violent Eject" and you should probably consider servicing/replacing the drive.
or set up something to just catch the discs like a small basketball net... then you can also score points when you burn.
