I'm importing videos from my 8mm camcorder. Each camcorder tape consists of varying subject matter footage. After importing, I have identified each segment as a different clip, with specific subject name and date.
I want to consolidate some of the clips from several iMovie projects (movies) into one. I can't drag and drop them from one project into another.
How can I consolidate all my vacation clips, or birthday clips together, in the same iMovie project.
I'm using OS X10.4.11 and iLife06 on an iMac G5.
Thank you for any wisdom that will guide me in my desired direction.
Huskerlevi.

The easiest way probably would be to just copy and paste your clips from the timeline to your desired project.
The only real alternative is to export each project to Quicktime (best Quality) and then import those QT files into a new project. To keep the quality.
Do you have Quicktime Pro?

No, I do not have Quicktime Pro.
Does iLife 08 offer easier solutions for my problem?
I dragged and dropped one of the clips on my desktop, it took 7 minutes to copy.
I will try your suggestion of copy from timeline and past in another project.
Thanks for helping, Huskerlevi.
