I am amazed that MicroSoft has become as made it this far with inferior products and not crumbing under presssure to create something of quality.... period! Apple is just a superior product both in hardware and software that they should be the dominate player... but thank God they aren't.

I fear to ask this but Mr. Sweatypits? Can someone please explain this one to me?
If there's a scary YouTube video explaining it I may not want to see it. I've seen his other YouTube offerings.
Scary........

Sadly, this video is not doctored. But, luckily, this one is!
Now give it up for me!

I think Steve Ballmer has got this one right- “It’s virtualization time for Microsoft”- but not in the way he thinks. I think a growing number of folks are going to use a virtualized Windows XP on their Mac and Linux machines as the switch from Windows being their primary OS. ;^)

This is yet another example of "truth stranger than fiction."
Ballmer desperately needs a "PR Lady" like "PC" had in the "Get a Mac" ad, "PR Lady" Get a Mac Ads
The "real thing" (Ballmer) is almost as funny.

For THIS century? More like it would be a first for ANY century.
I'm a lifelong mac user (my first system was a IIci that my father brought home from work one day) and one of the rules I have is that if it comes with Microsoft Windows as it's default OS then it's not alowed in my home (used to be if it booted Winbloze then it's not alowed, but Boot Camp went and changed that).
I also hate to admit it, but I am a Microsoft Certified System Engineer. One of the first things my instructor said was that Windows is the most secure network OS in the world until you do one thing to it...put it on a network. This was back in the days of NT, and from the looks of it things have not changed that much since.

Vista... from Meriam-Webster online dictionary...
1 : a distant view through or along an avenue or opening : prospect
2 : an extensive mental view (as over a stretch of time or a series of events)
same word that's used to describe the view when you're staring over a cliff. Ironic...
