On two occasions my iPhone has exhibited repeated Safari or Maps crashes even after a hard reset. The remedy was to disable Wi-Fi and use Edge. (Happened just yesterday at a golf resort.)

Were you connected to the golf's WiFi network at the time of the crash?

I have has some small issues with my iPhone. Safari used to crash before the last update. Also, I have had it crash once attempting to make a call. Once I reset it, it was good and I have had no problems since.

I can't believe someone got 195 pages of this crap! Who would pay for something that common sense would tell you?
There is a market for everything I guess..

Are you telling me the iPhone actually freezes and crashes with the current Apple approved software? So much for avoiding freezes and crashes as being one of the main reasons for not properly opening it to third party developers.

Hi
I feel :( My iPod touch has quite a few crashes during use. I can usually stomach a few Safari crashes with bulkier sites but when my Music starts crashing, the second time is an unimaginable ball of fiery for me. Is it something I'm doing wrong? I know a restart cures it for awhile but than it starts again after enough use. Seems like poor memory management ( since the iPod touch / iPhone have little RAM ) but maybe I'm wrong. I have no regrets on my purchase and I even plan to get a 32GB 3G iPhone late this year but that's my only complaint thus far.

Oh, that was just a pure lame pun. :)

Actually, I wasn't golfing (there for a concert) and have had the device since the 16GB iPhone came out. There is 8GB free space and, as I mentioned earlier, the problem was with the Wi-Fi network.

Hi,
My new unlocked iPhone 16GB 1.1.4 froze while uninstalling a game using Cydia installer.
After uninstall, i pressed the home key, but no response for hrs.
Then pressed home key & sleep/awake button together till the iphone switched off.
After a few hrs restarted my iphone, a small apple icon displays, nothing further.Even after 15min -- its the same nothing comes- no home screen
