Since you've unlocked the phone you don't have much choices but to maybe restore your phone through iTunes but I can't guarantee that will work. Unlocking the iPhone and bringing it to the Apple store won't get you much sympathy there since they don't advise unlocking the phone.

hi,

Its the software problem with iPhones. Dont know why Apple does not fix these problems.

Firstly , update your iphone using iTunes.

After the update is complete stop iTunes, press controlalt delete, you will get task manager ,

end process - iTunes helper . Close task manager.

Open Ziphone 3 latest version , press Do It All,

Wait for a few seconds the Zoro picture will appear & its done.

Try this out .....

Let me know ....

Restart vs. forced restart:
I just wanted to comment on the definitions given on this article. I agree naming them so as to not confuse the 2 - a simple power cycle is a restart since you are doing nothing more than turning it off, waiting about 5 seconds then powering back on - this does not change any settings.
however, what is being called a forced restart here may confuse people with forced restore when you connect to itunes and have to restore with no other choice. as well - this does change some settings, it is called a hard reset (hard because it uses the hardware buttons). although you don't lose any synced media - you will have to re-enter wifi passwords and re-customize anything you did before
