Power Mac G3 crash using Techtool Protege

Decided to repair my G3 2nd Mac. Plugged Techtool Protege into the Firewire port and tried to boot.

Everything went dead. Have a Mac 19" monitor and it has two lights on the front a green and an orange. When trying to boot the light starts out as green then goes to orange. Computer will not boot.

Any help would be appreciated.
