Help! Mac mini suddenly won't find my APExpress or Extreme

I recenently "upgraded" to a new AP Extreme, bought it refurbished from Apple directly. At first it worked fabulously, then it started to get slower and slower, so I tried messing with the configuration (I know, dumb). Now my Mini can't find it. I upgraded to the newest AirPort utility (which again worked fine at first). Now when I try scanning for wireless devices it doesn't find anything. I have both the Extreme and the Expressed plugged into power outlets and they sit there and blink amber at me.

So, what am I doing wrong?

I am running Tiger (upgraded to latest update) and it's a Mac 2.0GhZ intel dual core.

Please help!!! I am so frustrated right now I could cry.:_|

The mini is not n capable, use g only
