I have a iBook G4 laptop. I am currently running OSX 10.3. I want to install OSX 10.4. Will any Tiger OSX install disk work? It doesn't seem to be working on this laptop. OR do I just need to install Leopard? Thanks

I suggest you max out the ram in your ibook maybe go to www.owc.com
Get Leopard

Brace yourself for a steep climb from 10.3 to 10.5.2 (but at the top of the climb will be a nice view)

Typically you can't just get some arbitrary install disc and use it on any machine (especially if it came with some

machine...)

My Brother has a G4 ibook laptop and is running Leopard on it. But he doesn't run anything like bootcamp or Parallels on it.
