+1 for BusySync
A terrific little app that constantly keeps my iCal and Google Calendar synced. Combined with Google's sync app for Outlook at work, I can keep all of my calendars synced through Google. Plus, I can sync over the network with my wife's calendars!

1, GCAL Daemon
This hidden utility for Unix systems is actually provided by Google and it works very well. - a little Terminal tweaking is required but...

"A great and simple program, doing one thing: It synchronizes your remote google calendar with your local .ical-sourcefile, and vice versa. That?s not just great because it simply works, it also brings along two major features: The local calendar file will keep the calendar 100% available offline plus it?s no problem switching to any other program that?s using the ical - format."
PS. Read the comments at the end of the blog - it contains some good hints.
2. Sharing iCal:
Why pay $25 for software when online calendar sharing sites are available. Me and my wife use
- we publish our personal calendars and subscribe to each others. Yes, you cannot edit someone elses - but I think its ok and more secure.
3. iCalPublish:
Ok if you do want to spend money - I did it on icalpublish. I have 46 calendars in iCal - DONT ASK :-0
And iCalpublish helps me consolidate. For Eg. if I want my colleagues to see my free/busy time, I can consolidate all my work and home calendars into a Free/Busy Calendar and publish to Google or iCalx. So no one knows busy also means that I need to go pickup my child from daycare early today! You can do many variations on this - try it and you'll be hooked. best $15 I spent.

"Apple's iCal application allows you to publish your calendars so anybody can view them on the web. However, if you have multiple calendars (e.g., work, home, school), iCal 1 won't combine them so they all appear together on the same web page and iCal 2 won't allow you to combine individual calendars in more than one group. iCalPublish allows you to combine individual calendars and publish them as one calendar to your .Mac account or another WebDAV server for viewing on the web."
PS.. The plain text markup in these forums are a PAIN in the ....!!! URL Link creation page does not seem to work.. this is what happens when i use the pop-up tool... webmaster - fix these forums please.
