By now it is generally assumed that a 3G capable, 2nd-generation iPhone will be announced by Steve Jobs at Apple's WWDC on June 9.
My question for you: When do you suspect Apple will actually release the new iPhone? I have read various rumors across the internet... with various sources stating they believe it will be released anywhere from the day of the WWDC to months afterwards.
What do you think? What have you read?

Well, I saw it posted somewhere that AT&T is hiring more temp staff in June. So I would imagine they'd only do that if they planned to have the iPhones there and in stock. So I'd be willing to bet that the phones will go on sale at the online Apple Store, the physical Apple stores, and AT&T stores like the day of the WWDC. If not, surely by the 16th, which is exactly one week after the WWDC.

I am actually okay with EDGE for speed. Of course I would rather have faster 3G speeds. But what actually interests me more about these 3G chips that their speed is the ability to allow voice communications and data access simultaneously. We have this when using the iPhone with WiFi and I've become very attached to the concept.
