My wi fi internet cant connect to server...please help!

I have a ibook G4 with mac OS X 10.3.9. My Internet was working fine until it suddenly stopped working. When I checked my Network Status, it said that airport has a 'self- assigned IP address and may not be able to connect to the Internet'. Im Not sure how this happened.

Can anyone please help?
