iBook G4 800 MHz 12" updated to 10.5.3 from 10.5.2 in about 10 minutes, and so far everything is fine, even... snappier!
Mind you, Finder windows still don't update available disk space after deleting large files... ah, well.

Does it fix the Mac Mini and aluminum keyboard start-up keys not being recognized? Can I finally leave my aluminum keyboard plugged in when I try and boot into single user mode, or from a CD, or in target disk mode, etc.

Which NAS were you backing up to, and was this a true NAS, or just USB/Firewire-attached drive

It fixed a rather large number of Directory Services bugs for both Open Directory and Active Directory binding.

How does Mac OS 10.5 (and its latest update) fares on a G4/1.25Ghz MDD PowerMac? I'm still running 10.4.11. :)

Runs fine on a 1 Ghz G4 eMac, 1.4 G4 iBook and 2.16 Intel CD2 24 iMac.
Repaired permissions on Intel iMac and the screen graphics went crazy. Parts blocked out where the repair utility window was. Restarted and hasn't come back so far.

My question is this:
Does Mac OS 10.5 (and its updates) performs better or worst on a G4/PowerPC Mac?
Better or worst on a G5/PowerPC Mac?
G5/Intel Mac?
I would like to see any feedback from you guys to see how Mac OS 10.5 performs on these Macs?

420MB's huh? Well, isn't that sweet? Or suite. Whatever. Since I'm on the other side of the digital divide with my so-called "broadband" Hughes.net satellite link, this is one update Apple better make available to be mailed on a cd/dvd. Hughes.net averages 85k but has a 100mb limit per 24 hour period and if that limit is exceeded, they throttle you down to 1k. Isn't that spiffy? Cretins...

Time Capsule note: My 10.5.3 (production version) sandbox Mac's Airport Utility could not connect to Time Capsule. Kept asking for password after clicking Manual Setup.
My password had an &
Using my non-updated Mac, I changed that to a different special character and the updated Mac is happy. (Went right to the problem when I remembered that & handling in another context was changed in 10.5.3.)
Reported to Apple via bug reporter. Don't get caught in this one.
