been trying to find answers all over the internet with no success. My hard drive has been clicking for a few months now. Every time I delete everything and install Leopard it will work again for a few weeks. I think it's finally starting to die. I'm all backed up thanks to Time Capsule.

I have an appointment at the genius bar tomorrow - had a previous one, was told I would have to get a new hard drive. how long does it take to get a new hard drive? will I be without my dear computer forever?

what do you guys think of macservice.com is it safe? can it screw up my computer? is it better to just go through apple?

what hard drive is best to purchase through macservice? seems to be much cheaper

sorry for all the questions. I don't have much knowledge about computer parts and such.

any help would be much appreciated. thank you
