Here is my wishlist...

1. iPhone that allows Pay-As-You-Go service.
2. Half-height or Prosumer grade MacPro.
3. Upgrade path from Leopard to Snow Leopard.
4. An about-face to the dismal iMovie and iDVD 08 debacle.
5. Offering FinalCut and Soundtrack Pro outside of Suite.

I know I will be sadly disappointed... always do. But one can dream. I have always come to have low expectations for all these conferences. My excitment for Apple is gone.

I agree with your #2 but challenge your #5...you can get Final Cut Express, which is the same type as the Suite, just w/o all of the extra software.... Oh and you cannot open a FCP Express file in anyother type of Final Cut.

With the hype of the second generation iPhone, what happens to the 1st generation??? recycle bin or expect some software updates soon???? You think Steve will announce for those loyal purchasers not to worry there will be some help?

My only wish for the existing phone is MMS...

Send that update for the iphone and Im fine.

Your thoughts?

Glenn

If I do end up going for the new iPhone (probably will, but need to see the specs first) I'll try to sell mine on Craigslist. There are a lot of people who wouldn't mind having an older phone for a cheaper price.

My husband's getting my old iPhone -- he doesn't really need all the whistles and bells, just something he can answer easily when the keypad's locked and that's the iPhone right there (probably my favorite feature).

"9:55 PT - DM: Ooh, they're playing "Roll over, Beethoven." Nice. I too need a shot of rhythm and blues."

Anyone know which artist's version?
