Battery life looks great. GPS looks great. I may just be a soon to be iPhone owner. However, there is still the issue of my not wanting a phone service that costs me $50 a month or more. I hope these same additions will go in to the iPod Touch.

Well, nothing on Snow Leopard or new Macs...but didn't really expect much more than all the iPhone stuff. I'll need to add an alert to my iCal to be at the Apple Store early that day. :)

The apple store page (now open) shows "assisted-GPS" what is that?

and any word if the serial profile is supported by BT? (internal GPS removes one need for this, but it would still be very handy, e..g maybe the GPS receiver stashed in my car has better sensitivity etc, or to serve an internet connection to a notebook).

No upgrade for the iPod Touch? What about those of us who are satisfied with having a cell phone separate from their iPod? So is the iPod Touch now equivalent in price to the iPhone?
