So, is there going to be a Mac side app that will store all this information and allow for access to history, stats, etc?
Something they should think about would be a database of golf courses, so one doesn't have to enter in the distance, par, etc. for each coarse that is played. This information should be able to be downloaded via the cell (3G?) network or via Wi-Fi.

Plum Record sounds pretty fantastic (pun not intended). But does the iPhone make a dumb "click" noise when you take photos? Be kinda useless in a lecture if it did...

This would be a great application to work with GPS capabilities. You could record yardage, distances to the pin, etc..
