The mouse lists for $59 on Kensington's site.

And ...

"The Portable Power Outlet costs $@4.99" ...

translates to $24.99.

I have the Kensington SlimBlade Trackball Mouse with Bluetooth Wireless. It is basically the same as this SlimBade Mouse except that the scroll wheel is replaced with a marble sized ball. This allows the TrackballMouse to operate as either a trackball using the ball for trackball purposes or as a mouse with the ball taking over the scrolling job. It works very well as a trackball or mouse. Not as nice as the large turboMouse, but still useful as a bluetooth Trackball or mouse. The biggest short coming is that being a TurboMouse user, there is a software incompatibility between the SlimBlade & MouseWorks programs. You either have one or the other. That means there is a need for separate startup partitions for whichever Trackball/mouse that is to be used. The next shortcoming is that I am used to having 4 buttons to use. This results in eliminating at lease 1 used choice.
If you just need a bluetooth mouse, then it appears to do a fairly good job of that part of it job
I use mine with the internal hard drive in my 17" powerbook along with the older white plastic bluetooth keyboard. I need a numeric keypad almost as much as a bluetooth trackball. Then when I am home or plan to do some heavy duty entry, I carry & use an external hard drive with the MouseWorks software & use the TurboMouse.
Kensington says that they have a 9 day return policy if you are not happy with their products. This is beter than most.
