Hi,

I want to use my computer as a web server so I need to add a port to my firewall but I am not sure how I should approach it. The 10.5.2 version's firewall interface seems to be a bit different from previous versions and I'm not particularly technology-literate, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I think that you should first update to 10.5.4, both the 10.5.3 and 10.5.4 updates addressed security, and would further change your situation.

What type of a web server do you intend to use your computer for? This could be important. Do you simply want to serve websites from it? Or do more complicated stuff?

I hope this helps.

Go to the sharing preference pane, then click on Internet Sharing, you need follow the instructions there on what to click on if you use ethernet or airport.
