Did not work for me. Used script; made a slight change a slight change to album page, republished, opened Firefox, cleared cache and then revisited the site. This is an absolute pain! Everyone blames everyone else but no one solves the problem.

I've just started using iWeb, and wondered why I haven't seen this problem. Then I realized that I'm using the Gallery to display my photos, not iWeb pages. I'm using links (and the iWeb Gallery widget) to get to the Gallery from my web pages. The Gallery doesn't have the flexibility of the iWeb pages for photos, but it does have its own charms. Might be a decent workaround until you can get the iWeb photo and album pages to work with Firefox 3.

So this is a problem with iWeb '08 and not FireFox? Is it Apple's problem to fix or Mozilla's? I have several photo sites published through iWeb and they (of course) don't render at all in FF 3.x. I was waiting on a fix/update from Mozilla, but the update/fix should be from Apple for iWeb? Who 'owns' an issue like this, anyway?

I provided a link in the story to Josh's blog, where he provides the details on how this came about.

I applied the fix and it work great. Firefox now displays photos in iWeb's Photo page. Thanks for the help, Chris.

OK, it works as advertised. I was able to view the fix when publishing locally to a folder before taking the time to FTP all of my site contents up to my hosted Web server. I just had to open up a locale file location in FF 3 to view the changes and the slideshows work just fine. Now for Apple to come out with a 'formal' fix to this issue....
Thanks!

I'm pleased to say that this version has worked for me. (I had tried an earlier version but without success).
This fix also works for Opera 9.5.
Thanks for encouraging me to try the Fix again.

I had no clue this problem existed. I always figured if I just checked things out in Safari and MS Internet Explorer, I'd be covered. Sure enough, my website had this issue here with Firefox. Did the fix and everything is hunky dory. Thanks!

The fix worked well except on photo pages that had any shadowing at all, not just on the pictures but on the page itself. So photo page themes such as 'Comic Book' which have shadowing built into the title bars won't render properly in FF 3.x, even after applying the patch. I had to change the theme for one set of particular photo pages to something more generic, which was too bad because the 'comic book' theme was really appropriate for the content.
I do greatly appreciate the fix/patch wrapped up in the installer. That made a big difference and 95% of my sites re-rendered properly to work in FF 3.x. Since FireFox is such a popular browser across several platforms (including Windows) it would be good if Apple addresses this issue on their own soon so that all of their themes/pages for photos display properly.
