Hopefully this deals with the iPhone apps bug that isn't updating apps properly when updates are requested through iTunes.

It does seem to improve dealing with Apps, but when I had it check for updates in iTunes, the Applications icons showed two updates, but the updates window showed a dozen apps. I had to figure out on my own which ones needed an update, since the Update All feature still doesn't work.

On the good side: My iPod touch now shows up in the devices list almost immediately again.
On the bad side: It automatically checked all my applications to be installed. Had to stop it and uncheck the ones I didn't want installed.

Unfortunately, iTunes still crash on me after 3-4 clicks on links in the iTunes store.

It does seem to have fixed some of the bugs. Most notably, calendar events are now syncing from iphone to Outlook.

Nope. Didn't fix the apps issue. After running it the first time, it came back and told me that there were 93 new app updates. I ran the download and still have the many of the same old versions that I had before.

Now it tells me that there is one update available, but I can't tell which app has the update available... Nope, still not fixed...

iTunes has nothing to do with syncing. Syncing is done from the MobileMe Preferences. Nothing to do with iTunes...

So, it sounds like you're saying that if we get the app updates individually that they'll actually download? I haven't been able to get that working...

I think the update process from your iPhone or iPod touch is more accurate. I've given up on trusting iTunes for this.
