I don't believe this can actually accept PATA drive mechanisms, based on the (somewhat inconsistent) specs I've seen.

Maybe they use adaptors or maybe the wrong information was given out.

For my use, where is the FW800 support. They do offer a single 3.5" model that has FW400/88, USB2, & eSATA. I'll wait for a model like that.
