Austin does make nice apps, however, his shortfall is that development on any of his prior apps stops once he turns his attention something else.

exactly what MacGeekPro said. AppZapper hasn't seen an update since December of 2006, and Disco hasn't been touched since last March. let's not forget his last word on his help with Michael Yuan's "Cookbook" on the MyDreamApp site was posted over a year ago. Sarner's site does mention that AppZapper 2 is in the works, but it's just two sentences.

I hate to agree, because Sarner obviously has a real talent for UI and app design, I just can't be interested in good looking apps that are destined to become abandonware within the month.
I don't just buy software for today, I buy to invest in its future a?? a future none of Austin's apps seem to offer.

I don't know how long this app will 'last' but it seems pretty good for my personal needs.
I'll definitely buy.

This may be a dumb question but my iPhone hasn't yet arrived so I can't know yet... Will this app have support for any currency or only $? Or does that depend on the iPhone itself, and not the app? Thanks.

Absolutely agree with MacGeekPro. Austin's commitment to anything can't really be trusted. Also, though he seems to have some nice ideas, the implementation is not his strong point.

I definitely wouldn't think of taking my money to spend on his new, alas probably abandoned in a couple of months, baby. Even if the app is nice.

Not a dumb question at all. I'm interested in this app as well but need to be sure about currencies before spending my 3$. Sent an email out to the developer, still awaiting the reply.

I am from Sweden and we use kr as currency. In the app it do´s show kr. But i if a do save a transaction the amout is shown as 0,00 even if i did say it was 30,00.
Is it someone how knows this problem or is it so that i have to wait for the next update. Then it realy scarry to read that they are bad to do any updates..
