Google - PLEASE read this article. Calendar sucks on the iPhone. Mail isn't half bad using the iphone mail app, though a dedicated mail app which supports labels would be nice or at least push mail.
I love my google apps, I love my iphone - can Google and Apple please work on this?!

Re: Review: Google Mobile App for iPhone
Why isn't this really cool sounding App available in Canada! I thought I was insane because I couldn't find it anywhere in the Apps Store so I Googled it and got a message saying that it is not available in my country.

So how exactly does an app that "leaves plenty to be desired" get a four-mouse rating?

It's not a bad little app although I still tend to go straight to searching in Safari however, it's useful for finding phone numbers on my iphone!

I enjoy using Google Reader on the iPhone, although the fonts are a bit small. But I agree about Blogger...

Another Tip. As you search and web sites appear in your list. Press on the link for a second and it flashes and the web site appears in blue on the search bar. Now when you continue to search you are searching within the site selected.
Cool.

What would make the Google app even better is if, when using it instead of the slow-to-respond "Contacts" shortcut in the 2.0 software, you could actually EDIT the contact you bring up instead of just viewing it.

Are there privacy settings? Because it sounds like it would be a big CPU eater if it searched absolutely everything on your iPhone and the web. With all that people are saying about apps causing there iPhone to crash- it might make it unstable.

Only had my Rogers iPhone for a couple of days and the Contacts is, without a doubt, the most frustrating app. The Google app seemed to fit the bill but my excitement over finding a solution quickly changed to disappointment when I searched and then found it was not available in Canada. What gives? Makes absolutely no sense. I am hoping that it an oversite and will be added to the Canadian apps within the next few days...or hours.

Just an idea- In your reviews of iPhone/iPod Touch apps, it would be great if you could include a link to the app store/itunes store page for that app. As it is, I always have to go search it out myself (oh, the horrors!)

This App is also not available from the South African iTunes Store.
Why this distinction?
BTW, South Africa also doesn't have visual Voicemail...
