A good review of a great little app. Appigo Todo strikes the balance of being easy to use, but not too complex. It syncs to free Toodledo or Remember the Milk, so you don't loose your data. Overall, very nicely implemented and worth the money.

Nice review. This is the best todo app I've used. My needs are fairly simple and Todo solves them. The sync with Toodledo works nicely, no problem. Well worth the $10. I'm happy.

Toodledo apparently has SMS reminders. So if you used that with Todo, you have have it text you:

Who wants to visit a website to see the to-do list they've made? The question that no one has answered is why in the world can't iCal to-do lists be synced to the iPhone and vice versa? This is a big "DUH???" if you ask me.

You don't have to. But it's great to have the option, as it gives you another way to edit your lists; it also means you can share your lists with other people who don't have iPhones or use the same to-do-list app.

From our list of missing iPhone features from July 2007:
iCal, which the iPhone already syncs with, offers To-Do lists. So why doesn?t the iPhone?

From our previous review of basic to-do apps:
We?re still waiting for iCal?s to-do lists to find their way onto the iPhone.

It's definitely a What The Heck? issue, and makes little sense to me. But Apple hasn't offered an explanation. Until such a feature is added to the iPhone, we'll have to use other solutions. And it's worth noting that apps such as Todo offer much more functionality than iCal when it comes to task tracking.

Price needs to come down, until then I will be using the regular notes feature even if it offers less.

Any ideas if and when we're going to see iCal to do list sync? I'm not up for another web service when I manage my tasks on my mac. Just want iPhone syncing and would pay for this. Thanks

"Although you can set due dates for tasks, Todo offers no alerts or reminders; you have to open the app to view pending tasks."
This is not really Todo's fault. The iPhone OS will not allow any application to run in the background.

You've got it backwards! The point of this is that it's a heck of a lot easier to ADD your to-do list in a web browser, and then have it sync to your portable iPhone.
