I purchased one of these handheld items 3g mirrored screen film a while back, and the mirror aspect is nice, it looks really cool, and provides a nice protection for the screen. HOWEVER,... the problem is that it really darkens the display of the phone. I've got the brightness cranked all the way up on my iPhone now, and it's alright as long as I'm inside, in a room with normal lighting. Anything brighter, and it's really hard to see the display of the phone. Outside, it's almost impossible, especially if it's bright out.

Up to you whether it's worth the sacrifice of visibility of the display in order to have the cool look... I'm thinking I'm gonna remove mine and toss it in the trash.
