OMG. Instant flashback to wasted time huddling in the back of the classroom! There goes another buck; thanks Peter! :)

Man... oh man... just looking at the pictures of this made shivers run down my spine.
Maybe someone will figure out how to do Coleco's Head to Head version.

The graphics look too slick and polished. It lacks that "I built this in my lab" look of the classic LED games.

I'm another of those old farts that played this when I was a teenager. I'm curious how the lack of tactile feedback affects game play. I'm not sure my hands could take the exertion anymore anyway.

Holy living &@*!@!, sign me up! My entire 3rd grade year was BLOWN because all I did was LED sports. Maybe I should stay away from this, it might get me into trouble.
Jobs is evil. Having LED sports on your iPod is like electronic crack.

Dude, this has wasted as much of my time now as it did back then. Right down to my coworkers taking the place of my parents yelling "TURN THE SOUND OFF!"
This is what iPhone applications are for, not useless "productivity" silliness

Did everyone else just have your LED dot guy sit in the lower left until the bottom two defenders split so you could then just run the whole field and score at will?

Ok, maybe I have too accurate of a memory of that game. Must have played it too much.

I have the same appreciation for this as I do for apps like Tape Deck. I don't know if it's terribly useful (it could be, if you need to do a lot of quick audio capturing), but it sure does recreate the experience of using an old classic piece of gear.

Don't even invoke Coleco. Back in the day, Coleco made Atari and Intellivision look like, um, Atari and Intellivision.

I had (OK, I have in the closet) the Mattel LED Basketball game, and back when it was wasting maximum time the loud beeps started getting to me so I went so far as to cut a hole in the case and disconnect a speaker wire.
