Hi,

I´m having a hell of a time with this problem. I use Word 2008 and when I save a document as .pdf and email it, people aren´t able to open it. It turns out that the files' extension are changed into .pdf7 (or some other number).

Recently I sent a .doc file to someone who couldn´t open the .pdf (because of this problem). When I check the file afterwards, it has changed to .doc6 . To be clear, I´m not changing the extensions, and I´m not saving documents with the same name. It´s just the extension that´s changing.

What´s the problem? I´m told that I should ZIP the files, but that´s not a solution to the problem, is it? Is this a problem with Word or Mail?
