I've upgraded my cordless phones from 2.4 ghz to 5 ghz, but I still get kicked off every time the phone is used. The information I've found

out there says I should try "changing the channel" from, say, 6 to 11 (this is for 802.11b). But I can't find anyone to tell me where the "channel" is and how I might change it.

Can someone provide the needed information?

Open Airport Admin Utility, it?s in there. Go to Configure and you'll see where you can choose your channel.

The Airport admin. utility finds no Apple wireless devices, probably because the only wireless device I have is my wireless modem, provided by my internet provider.

Is there another way to find the channel?
