Ah, nothing like good competition between manufactures of products I want. :D
Once a 256GB SSD is affordable and makes it into the MacBook Air, I'm sold.

to bad I can't put one in my MacBook Pro without voiding the warranty.. plus think I will wait for 1TB.

Any notes on price and power consumption? Coming to market is one thing, being a feasible option is another. If it's cheap enough, I'm all for it!

Unfortunately, no. These are 2.5-inch drives. The current MacBook Air accommodates only 1.8-inch drives (and only single-platter-height ones, at that).

You ought to be able to install one. Replacing a drive does not void your warranty.

According to Apple it does.... They made it easy to upgrade the Hard Drive on MacBook without having to open the computer and therefore voiding your warranty... but no the MacBook Pro you have to open the thing and void warranty...
