What's the point of this illustrious achievement if the people who DO have a 3G mobile device (specifically, an iPhone on the AT&T network) can't even receive a 3G signal?
Having a 3G mobile device doesn't mean squat if you can't take advantage of the technology.

It demonstrates a, shall we say: funny, world view to analyze five countries (France, Germany, Italy, Spain, UK) and call this set "Europe" -- a geographical region that encompasses more than fifty nations, 27 of which are EU member states.
Some "research" that is...

I take it all those people in the U.S.A. are on Sprint and Verizon since only a small percentage of AT&T users can get 3G data access and almost none of T-Mobile's users will ever (it seems that way) have access to 3G.
Still, even though Sprint has a head start, they still have a lot more territory to cover, though WiMAX is live in Baltimore, right? So it's an uneven playing field.
