WhitePages.com has their own iPhone app, WhitePages Mobile, which is also free. I just downloaded it and though I haven't tried People, it seems like WhitePages Mobile may be a bit better.

WhitePages Mobile has a clear button. It does not uses the iPhone auto-complete in the names fields, and it does include its own suggested city names as you type. It does, however, have the same issues with requiring 2 letter abbreviations for states.

Huh? 'not available in the Canadian Store'? No fair. Surely there are equivalents of the WhitePAges.com for Canada that it could hook up to - not to mention that I might reasonably want to look up someone in the US.
