Hi All,
I recently read about a company that makes a cable allowing an internal hard drive to be used as an external drive.
Has anyone heard about this ? Does anyone know where I could find one ?
Thank you in advance.

I don't know about a bare cable, but they have cases called "enclosures" that you can get to stick a HD inside of.

Check out the Firewire Enclosures at Other World Computing . If you have a desktop computer, get the Mercury Elite Pro. If you have a laptop, you need one for 2.5" drives, like the Mercury On-The-Go.
Make sure your computer has firewire to work with these drives externally.

Hi Guys, Thanks for the info !
Believe it or not, I actually saw in a magazine (I can't remember where), that some company developed a way to use an internal HD as an external. It was a power acble and I think a converter to USB, though not 100% sure...
