Dr. Bott's antenna on snow ABS

Does anyone know if the new Dr Bott's antenna can be hacked onto the snow ABS? I understand that it has an mcx connector but I am unsure of the type ie axial or flat. I have looked at the sites suggested but this is a new antenna and from my little knowledge of rf etc. at first glance I wonder if it is compatable? If so would it not eleminate the need for the pig tail connector shown on the www.vonwentzel.net site?
