re: Zoom for the camera
The megapixel abilities of the camera would remain the same regardless if the zoom takes place before or after the picture is taken... resolution is resolution. The camera can't get any clearer a picture regardless of when the zooming in is done.
re: Video out
Already is such a cord. Also allows youtube to be watched on a TV, although the image is pretty craptacular due to youtube's native resolution compared to a TV. It connects via the dock. The old video out cords that functioned through the headphone jack do not function with the iphone.
re: 2-d pad. That is a decision of the game designer, not Apple. If you want to use a game that has a "traditional" platformer control, check out PapiJump Cave... might be just what you are looking for. Classic Mario platforming, and controlled via 3 buttons on-screen.

As stated, there is video out. There are 2 cables available depending on the TV plugs but I've done it a few times with the cables and it works great for movies and TV shows. Not quite full resolution but looks good on a 30-inch LCD screen. The cables connect via the docking port and also include a USB plug so you can plug it into power at the same time. The same cables work with other video iPods for the same output as I have used an iPod Nano as well.
I too have been waiting for a Slingbox interface. Some schools of thought believe it is AT&T keeping this app away as they want to have their own video service.

8. Video Out. Say I download a movie, and I'm at a
friends house, but instead of going to the
local video store, I just plug a cord into
the headphone jack for video out and hit play
through his t.v. on video 2. That would be
great.

I agree with all of your comments except this one. This feature is available with the video cable that you can buy from Apple. It plugs into the dock connector and has RCA jacks for video out and left and right audio as well as a usb charger. It has come in handy for me taking long car trips with my kids, I plug it into the portable DVD player and run the videos from the iPhone. That way I don't need to worry about changing the DVD every 45 minutes.
My only complaint is that when the cable is plugged the iPhone screen shuts off. One thing that I haven't tested is if you can send game output to the video out. I have gotten addicted to Spore and I'd like to see that on my 48" flat screen.

If I do not like an App after buying it, why I can not return it and get a refund?

Because it's software - you can't really give it back. Sure you can delete it from the phone, but who's to say you haven't made a backup?

Well, since the output of the iPhone is locked at the screen resolution, I think you're much better off plugging your computer into the big screen. The iPhone's output will be a mite bit blocky, and not nearly as interesting as it looks on the iPhone.

If I had the game on my computer that might be an option but this is an iPhone game.

A co-worker, tired of hearing me brag about my iPhone, showed me her new T-Mobile G1. While it's no iPhone killer, she did show me something I had hoped would be in the new iPhone update but was not. She handed me the phone and there was a street view of Paris. She told me to turn my body around and the view of the street turned with me. The base of the Eiffel Tower came into view. I raised her G1 up and the view looked up to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Very cool. I had hoped that the when the street view came to the iPhone it would have this function.
