I have a huge problem. I was away for the last week and when I returned I find that I cannot "Send" emails from Mac Mail. I have Mail version 3.5 (930.3) and OS X 10.5.6. I can receive emails. I can go to the Internet with either Safari or Firefox. I can send emails from my webmail account. However, I can't "Send" directly from Mac Mail. Spent hours with AppleCare on the phone. H-e-l-p.

I have just upgraded from Tiger to Leopard with a 10.5.4 DVD followed by a 2 hour download of various associated upgrades including the 10.5.6 combined upgrade.
I have lost all activity through Mail. The program opens but does not display the Message Viewer, when selected it shows an empty Message Viewer, although I can navigate to see my previous mail folders, and the program will not quit - I have to Force Quit.
Lucky I can still access through the internet to my mac.com / me.com connection, however all my subfolders on my iMac are not accessible.
Still searching for the fix. BE CAREFUL if you upgrade.
Not happy.
