Ok, I've had my TiBook for just over a year and everything has been working fine.

I tried to install Jaguar last night. The 1st disk installed fine. It prompted me for the 2nd disk and I put it in and it started to do its thing. I leave the computer for awhile and I come back to find my computer "asleep". The sleep light is pulsing like it's in sleep mode. Nothing I do will bring it out of this mode, even removing the battery.

I have no idea what to do. Can anyone help PLEASE?? images/icons/frown.gif

I'm having your exact problems with my TiBook which I have had just over a year as well....
EXCEPT, I'm still in OS 9,2 because of an ongoing project using Quark. I'm wondering if there's a problem with the main drive. In the middle of working on my computer, it goes to sleep and I've disengaged the "sleep" mode. Also, the drive tends to spin to start and then dies. It takes several attempts to get it sstarted. Also, it spins alot and for the past 2 months, I've been getting a broken folder when I start up. I take the computer through the TechTool and through Disk Aid and find nothing wrong. Everytime I get a broken folder (about 6 times in 2 months), I insert the OS 9 disk, take it through "verify" and "repair " and then reboot, it starts up again. Incidently, the first aid did not repair anything because it did not indicate anything needed to be repaired. I'm now finished with my last job backed everything out of the computer and will do a clean install. If this persist, I'm bringing the TiBook in to the Apple Store. I've been happy and not been happy with the PB. I loved my old PISMO I sold to get the TiBook. I wish I didn't.

Anyone else having this problem. images/icons/confused.gif
