For what it is worth, DTV for me is MUCH better than analog. I was only able to pull in a few stations via analog, and with fairly poor signal quality on all but one. Once I switched over to using a digital tuner, I now get pretty much all stations in my area completely clearly. Actually, I get a few more stations, as there are a number of stations in my area broadcasting multiple stations on digital, such as ABC and the CW - the CW is not available via analog. You don't need a strong signal with digital (it's not like the stations I'm getting are transmitting in digital more strongly than analog), it's just that you can watch analog with even weaker signals, albeit through a blizzard of static.

Bresnan cable (my service) says everyone will be all set, even if you have a cable plugged directly into a tv. That means that the signal will be....analog! The Satellites are sure to play that up...
