If Nintendo had a clue, they would hire the programmer to convert the game into an official Nintendo release for the iPhon.

I hate it when these big houses try and cash in on their abandonware, and after 20 years pretend like they care about it. They make billions and think that Joe Blow who's making a couple of hundred bucks off a 20 year old game is going to hurt their bottom line.

Not that it was any stretch of the imagination, but I knew this was going to happen as soon as I saw the game appear in the App Store.
Besides, what's the fun or challenge in simply tapping objects on a screen to shoot them? How can you possibly miss a shot?

Nintendo does have a clue...it's called the DS and they've sold nearly 100 million worldwide. Why would they want to give over one of their signature titles for use on the competition for what amounts to chump change?

All these sorts of games are available on the Wii through its online thingy. It seems pretty obvious Nintendo will not be happy about this. Lets hope they have not heard of MAME haha.

And here we see the it's-ok-to-steal-from-anyone-that-I-think-has-enough-money monster rearing its ugly, selfish head.

Unfortunately, copyright holders have an obligation to protect their content otherwise they risk having the copyright overturned.

And if it was Apple software, not only would the lawyers be rubbing their hands but you would be screaming foul.

Maybe the developer was planning to bring in a "zapper" peripheral that would allow us to shoot at the screen..lol..good thing that such a stupid game has been removed..
