For me, the prizm to see M$' cross-platform policies is through their flaky support for Mac OS (some of which are commercial products, natch) over the past couple of decades. The word "support" applies very loosely in M$' vocabulary.

This guy needs to get a grip. It doesn't make Microsoft look good when their staff fly off the handle over the most trivial things. Flying chairs anyone?

So... the odds that Internet Explorer will ever actually support any of these over Microsoft's own proprietary software? Maybe if its market share drops below 50% and everyone else has them nailed. Maybe.
