What great fodder for a new Apple commercial poking fun at MS via Bill's wife's iPhone envy. What Bill should have told Melinda is not to mention this kind of stuff in public.
Of course the best thing Bill could do is somehow get Microsoft to develop cool products and software that people actually love using. What a concept!

General Motors didn't allow Japanese vehicles in their parking lots. And how well is GM doing? Small mindedness doesn't lead to success.
But restricting your kids from using the competitors product certainly isn't cruel. But to be unwilling to learn why the competition is eating your lunch is stupid.

I wouldn't use her comments. From where I'm sitting, sounds a bit unseemly to use his wife against him. I just think some things should be out of bounds.
And I say this as someone who loves his 120 gb iPod, his 3g iPhone, and his Macs. 20 years of using Apple products and going strong.
